Located just minutes north of center city Philadelphia is
Juniata Golf Course, an 18-hole golf course designed by renown golf architect, Ed Ault.
This classic course is considered a hidden treasure by many locals and offers a
wide array of unique and challenging holes. Completed in 1930, Juniata Golf
Course is a relatively short course that was designed to take advantage of its
naturally rolling terrain.
The historic par 66 layout features a classic design and is known for its
course conditions year round. Precision shot making is paramount as several of
the undulating greens are medium in size and are often guarded by well placed
bunkers. Adding to the challenge is Frankford Creek that makes its presence
known on a total of six holes.
The uphill 360-yard, 6th hole features a shallow kidney shaped green that like
the rest of the course emphasizes proper club selection. With its extra wide
fairways, manicured greens, and friendly staff golfers often find themselves
returning to Juniata Golf Course time and time again.
